Re: GENERAL HELLOS
hi all,
glad to see you back John. I have been on the opposite end of the stick this last week actually, simply enjoying myself with my partner and children. Last weekend we were 8 in total for three days so that certainly kept me on my toes. I decided to have a rest from the actual research and study, I'm active in my healing daily though and I have now had quite a long stretch of happy times. One tool I have found very useful is to feel free and comfortable enough to express myself openly and honestly regardless.. no denial of self. It's quite amazing how open and honest communication can make such a difference to ones life!! Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact. Accepting that it's ok for me to be happy without attempting to sabotage that happiness has been a wonderful thing for me.
I will find some time towards the end of this week onwards to post some more, particularly in my journal. Yes John, I think your idea is a good one, re. allowing others to respond through our journals. I don't have an issue with that. It could actually be quite a good thing.
Must travel, take care all,
smile, be happy and float freely.
Flick.

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
Hiya all,
Well I have some fantastic news to share which I'm going to save for my journal as it's all part and parcel of my journey. I hope everyone is well and gosh I hope you're all finding the peace and happiness you deserve. I have little quotes written on pieces of card stuck to my monitor that have helped me get to the point I am so I'm going to share them all; "Rather than reacting or responding to circumstance 'try initiating change' ". "Humilty and confidence V Ego"....that's a good one for me. "For sucess: focus on the purpose". "Be my own self hero". I felt that on Thursday! The next two are my favourites; "Belief Creates" and "Optimisim is a Powerful Tool", the later being the one I repeat the most often. Something that I always try to bear in mind and "USE" is "that for every negative there is a positive". Instead of focusing and wallowing on the negative, look for the positive. Then focus on that, initiate change and enjoy the result. I recieved a bookmark the other day that states: "What the future holds for you depends on what you hold for the future", I thought that so appropriate, so very true, we can shape our own future and have control of the direction we take whilst doing that. I feel anyway.
I'm going to get busy with my journal entry, it's been a little while, I've penned plenty though.
Smile, be happy and float freely.
Open hands, open heart.

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
Hi Flick,
I'd like to make a brief comment on part of what you said as I feel that you need to really look and feel the words as they are twisted and reversed, and while they may appear to be "loving" and "positive", they are anything but. The words are:
quote: Something that I always try to bear in mind and "USE" is "that for every negative there is a positive". Instead of focusing and wallowing on the negative, look for the positive. Then focus on that, initiate change and enjoy the result. I recieved a bookmark the other day that states: "What the future holds for you depends on what you hold for the future",
Delving and feeling into what you considered was "negative" was what brought you the "positive" joy and the re-claiming of lost fragments. This "quote" sets up a program that is in reversal to what you were doing and will stop your healing process. Focusing on only the "positive" and denying anything "negative," that isn't pleaseant is what we've been doing all our lifetimes.
Food for thought
John

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
Hi John,
Contradictory;
I have spent most of my life "Focusing on the NEGATIVE" not the positive. I am trying to say that as of late when I come across something upleasant, I don't deny it, I acknowledge it and then look for the positivity from within the experience. It enables me to move through it instead of "Wallowing in it".
belief creates,
